Sydney Repossessions and its partner business, Prudential Process Service (ABN: 28 270 506 276), commenced trading in Sydney, NSW, in 1992.  Having traded in the repossession business for such a long time, we have experienced many industry changes and seen numerous other agencies come and go.  Our business strategy of honesty and integrity above all, combined with the knowledge, experience and means to do the job right each and every time has stood the test of time.

The repossession industry has rightfully received its fair share of negative feedback over the years.  Poor performance and non-compliance to the applicable legislation has generally been due to a combination of factors, namely; lax licencing regulations and inexperienced, over zealous and/or untrained agents.  

Fortunately, NSW's new Commercial Agents & Private Inquiry Agents Act 2004, which came into effect on 1st May, 2004 (see our Industry News) will hopefully provide the industry with the regulation it has so sorely lacked, eliminating those "cowboys" that have plagued the repossession business for so long.

Nothing however can replace experience and knowledge.  Sydney Repossessions does not employ field agents with less than 10 years practical repossession experience, allowing our clients to relax with the peace of mind that the job will be done right - the first time.  Our agents are licenced and qualified under the new Act and we carry comprehensive Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.

We understand the repossession business and will always act in the client's best interest.  We appreciate that repossession is generally a financiers last resort and that losses can often prove considerable.  Different circumstances require a different approach and that is where our experience in the industry counts.  It is the peace of mind to the client that sets Sydney Repossessions apart from the others.
